About Me
I am running for USG President because I have a passion for student government and for the process of enacting real policy change that has visible effects on the lives of my peers. I find the collaborative process of working with student leaders and administrators to extremely rewarding, and serving in the capacity of USG President would afford me the opportunity to utilize my skills to this end.
I remember wanting to lead and represent my peers from a very early age, beginning with the gang I founded at Lindsey Elementary School in Chesterland, Ohio at age 7. Once my first student group disbanded after a little less than a week, I left with a thirst for an outlet to interact and represent my fellow students.
In high school, I was extremely active in Student Government, founding different subcommittees and groups and eventually serving as Student Body President my senior year. I entered Princeton the following year hoping to get involved in anyway that I could. This eventually resulted in me running for and President of the Class of 2010, which I was lucky enough to win in October of 2006.
Since then, serving the student body in the capacity of Class President has been my most rewarding activity at Princeton. I’ve cultivated close relationships with administrators on a variety of issues while having my finger on the pulse of undergraduate life and pressing student concerns. I want nothing more than to be able to continue serving and representing my peers as USG President.
